Tina Finneran

Biography

Dr. Finneran serves as the Vice President for Institutional Research, Analytics & Consulting at Bowdoin College, a highly selective, residential liberal arts college in Brunswick, Maine. The Office of Institutional Research, Analytics & Consulting supports college decision making, assessment, and planning through the collection, curation, and analysis of data. Further, the office partners with other departments to enhance data quality and promote data-informed decision making. Prior to her current role, Tina was on Bowdoin's IT leadership team as the Director of Academic Technology & Consulting. She managed the IT division budget and provided vision for enhancing teaching and learning via technology. With a focus on change management while at Bowdoin, Tina has overseen the communication and training of major technology projects, fostered collaboration between the library and IT, and now leads the growth of data warehousing, data governance and analytics at Bowdoin College. Tina has served as a member of the NERCOMP board and the NERCOMP-EDUCAUSE Workshop Series for IT Managers faculty, and presented at NERCOMP, NITLE, Campus Technology, and ACRL conferences, among others.
