Christine Stinson

Biography

Christine Stinson is the Chief Information Officer at Ferrum College where she leads strategic planning and policy development for the College's academic technology, administrative software systems, campus computer systems, and networks. She also oversees the non-degree Adult Education Programs for the campus. Dr. Stinson has a Ph.D in Business Administration from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Washington. Prior to becoming CIO, she was Director of Instructional Design and Technology and an Associate Professor of Accounting and Business. In May 2007, she was awarded the Faculty Appreciation Award by the Ferrum College Student Government Association.
