Christopher Coleman
Biography
Christopher has served in information and instructional technology for ten years at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. For nine of those years, he served as the Information and Instructional Technology Coordinator for the College of Education, during which he led efforts to modernize the College’s instructional environment through the enhancement of in-classroom technology and the development of technology-based active learning (TEAL) classrooms. He currently serves as a technology coordinator for the University.
His interests are varied, and range from IT management to instructional technology issues. Christopher’s interests include: IT service management/ITIL, information security, technology accessibility, analytics and data-driven decision-making in IT management and instruction, technology-related training, strategic information technology workforce development, and the ethical issues that arise in these areas.
Christopher received his B.S. in Computer Science and a graduate dertificate in Higher Education Leadership from Louisiana Tech University and a M.S. in Information Security and Assurance from Norwich University. He is a Ph.D. Candidate in Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas, where he expects to complete his doctorate in late 2021.
