Chris Shull

Biography

Chris joined Drexel University Online as VP for IT and Operations in February 2012. His portfolio includes all aspects of information technology and business applications, as well as driving innovation in high-quality online learning and teaching. Previously he served as the IT Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, with responsibility for all aspects of Information Technology from infrastructure and CRM to decision support systems and mobile applications, and worked at the University of Pennsylvania'™s Wharton School where he led Information Technology for academic, classroom, research and administrative computing, including prototyping applications to improve learning through immersive, experiential simulations, conversion of alumni relations, career management and MBA application systems, as well as Wharton Research Data Service, a profit center that grew to support over 13,000 users at over 180 institutions around the world, while achieving 700% growth in revenue over 5 years. Chris also worked at CareScience, where he led all aspects of Information Technology as the entrepreneurial company grew from 7 to 140 employees, methodizing software engineering and data management, optimizing analytic applications and data warehouse design, prototyping the company'™s first web-based application and designing its health care data exchange architecture. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts from the Wharton School with a concentration in Operations and Information Management.
