Biography

Chris Oswald is the Director, IT Audit with Princeton University’s Office of Audit and Compliance.  In his role, Chris provides risk-based audit, consulting, and risk management services to a variety of administrative and academic departments across the campus and serves on multiple working groups in an advisory capacity.  He is a key participant in the annual planning and execution of the internal audit work plan and partners with the Information Security Office on multiple initiatives including IT Risk Assessment.  Chris contributes to the profession through volunteer service on the ISACA CISA Certification Working Group.  Prior to joining Princeton, Chris held positions in public accounting, as well as Information Security and IT Operations for a publicly-traded healthcare software as a service company.  Chris holds multiple certifications including a CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CIPT, GIAC GSNA, and GIAC GCFE.  Chris has a B.S. in Information Technology from Capella University.
