Chris Russel

Biography

Chris has led the Information Security group at York University since 2000 and is currently Director of ICT Infrastructure and Information Security Officer. He has frequently consulted on computer and information security issues, investigations and assessments. He has authored or contributed to several security papers and tools, including a vulnerability assessment tool in use by Universities and other organizations around the world. He has also instructed for the SANS Institute, covering information security theory and practice, as well as computer hacking and forensics.
