Biography
Claudine SchWeber is currently the Chair of the Doctor of Management Program at the University of Maryland University College. Prior to this appointment, she was Associate Provost for Distance Education & Lifelong Learning at UMUC. She has been involved in online education since the late l990s, teaching,writing and designing online courses. Her DE unit has developed faculty training, best practices research, a center for intellectual property and a center for accessibility. Her most recent publication in the e-learning field, asks "Is there a Tipping Point for Online Learning?" an area which she is now expanding.She has worked in the USA and abroad, and recently held a Fulbright to Israel focusing on e-learning. Dr. SchWeber also teaches with the International School of Management in Paris. Her academic specialities are conflict management, change, communication and leadership, general management. Dr. SchWeber earned her Ph.D. from SUNY/ University at Buffalo.
