Biography

Clayn Lambert, PhD, is a Department Chair and Clinical Associate Professor at Idaho State University College of Technology, where 23 years of work spans instructional design, curriculum development, program coordination, and organizational change leadership. His career has centered on a single persistent problem: building learning systems that address the challenges of skeptical, performance-driven learners who resist training but need it to succeed.

As a cross-functional department chair, he has led enterprise LMS/LXP implementation, redesigned performance evaluation infrastructure, and guided multiple industry professionals into full instructional productivity — all while teaching a wide variety of general education courses grounded in authentic workplace application.

His current work focuses on S(TAC)K, an instructional design framework exploring how AI-enabled scaffolding makes genuinely individualized instruction scalable in ways that were never before practical.
