I have been working at the University of Oregon's division of Student Affairs for the past 17 years. I direct the division's IT services that comprises of a helpdesk, systems and infrastructure, web and special applications teams. During this time, I have mentored many IT staff and students.
Since 2009 I have volunteered and taught workshops around the world with Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC) on the topics of Network and System Monitoring and Management and UNIX/Linux System Administration.
I attended University of Dar-Es-Salaam Faculty of Engineering in Tanzania before transferring to University of Oregon where I studied Computer Science and Mathematics.
