Connie Delisle Delisle

Biography

As a senior resource in the Security Operations Division for the Privy Council Office, Government of Canada she provided executive guidance and advice ranging from security policy interpretation to conducting risk assessments, conducting the Business Impact Analysis for the Dept and the Office of the Prime Minister, working with the Associate Deputy Ministers on implementing the Continuity plans, etc. She developed a first-ever security risk management course at Simon Fraser University and taught it in its first year  (2016). On a leave of absence from government, she has launched a start-up which brings her research, policy, and innovation technology background to vulerable populations such as First Nations in order to improve community capacity. Her initial project in NW BC Coast is to deveop an emergency preparedness education program which will be First Nation adminisitred and taught.
