Biography
Conrad Geiger is a Principal Technologist at Sun Microsystems. He works exclusively with Sun's academic, research, and healthcare customers. During his 30+ year information technology career, Conrad also has been either a systems analyst or software developer for the following: IBM, NeXT Computer, Boeing, Burroughs, NBI, and the University of Texas Computation Center. During 2007-2008 Conrad was Sun's systems architect for Sun's HPC "Ranger" datacenter implementation at the University of Texas at Austin's Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) - a 4,000 system node research cluster and infiniband switch infrastructure.
