Biography

Cristian Opazo is the Director of Educational Technology at the NYU College of Dentistry. He and his team lead the College's long-term strategy of technology-enhanced education. His areas of expertise are innovation in health education, design and implementation of VR/AR simulation environments, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. His research has been published in the Journal of Dental Education, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Public Library of Science, and Complex Systems. He has a Ph.D. (ABD) and M.Sc. degrees in experimental physics from Michigan State University and a B.Sc. degree in physics from Universidad de Chile.
