Biography
Dr. Crystal Ramsay serves as Assistant Vice Provost for the AI Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning at Penn State, where she supports university-wide efforts to advance artificial intelligence in education. She also co-chairs Penn State's AI Coordinating Council, helping to shape the institution's strategic direction on AI. With over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. Ramsay bridges imagination and implementation, guiding efforts to modernize learning environments, foster evidence-based teaching practices, and explore the potential of emerging technologies in higher education. Previously, she served as Senior Director of Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), part of the University Libraries, where she championed innovation across all Penn State colleges, campuses, and administrative units. Dr. Ramsay is an affiliate faculty member in the College of Education and a member of the graduate faculty.
