Cynthia Edwards
Biography
Cynthia Edwards is a Professor of Psychology and Director of the Honors Program at Meredith College, located in Raleigh, NC. Edwards' academic work has included publications and presentations in the history of psychology; teacher training in bilingual education; and the role of peer social networks in the development of social skills among girls and women. Her current project is a longitudinal study of cognitive-social networks and the development of leadership skills among young women. Edwards has been deeply involved in the implementation of technology fluency initiatives on her laptop campus.EDUCAUSE Presentations
