Biography
Cynthia Grainger joined the Wellesley College Information Services staff in August 1998. Her responsibilities include managing Wellesley's Computing First Aid program, a drop-in software support service for students; coordinating software training classes and the Deskside Coaching one-on-one training program for faculty and staff; administering the campus's PC-Rdist remote refresh server; troubleshooting Windows 95/98 operating system problems on faculty and staff computers; writing software documentation; and providing training and technical support to the College's DormNet Consultants.Cynthia received a B.A. in English and Music from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1998. As an undergraduate, she served as a Resident Computer Intern with the UCLA Office of Residential Life, a Technical Writer / Editor with the UCLA Office of Academic Computing, and a Lab Consultant with the UCLA College Library Instructional Computing Commons.
