Biography

Daniel Fitzroy is the Discovery & Metadata Services Librarian at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He received his MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. In his current role, Dan helps maintain access and discovery paths to resources by maintaining the library's various knowledge bases of print and electronic holdings, managing the discovery layer, administering the proxy service, aiding in website maintenance, and cataloging print materials. His professional interests include implementing workflows and tools that streamline the access of information. In his spare time he enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, cooking, and buying (too many?!) books.
