Biography

DANIEL COOKE, Director of System Administration Daniel Cooke is currently the Director of System Administration and Integration at Loyola Marymount University. In this director role he contributes strategic management, leadership and vision in support of technology goals across the university including both Academic and Administrative systems. Mr. Cooke also oversees the IT group in charge of application integration and Identity Management. Mr. Cooke earned his MBA from the Loyola Marymount College of Business MBA program and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in computing from the University of California, Los Angeles. Demonstrating a history of interest in both education and technology, Mr. Cooke has done research in developmental disabilities as an undergraduate and then mobile technology during his MBA. Prior to joining LMU, he worked with Microdyne and Epson America. After joining the LMU IT staff, first as a contractor, then as a full-time employee in the Desktop Support group, he has earned three separate promotions to his current position. He also serves on the LMU MBA Alumni Board as Co-Chair of the Golf Committee and is a member of the LMU President’s Intercultural Advisory Committee.
