Dan Anderson
Biography
Daniel J. Anderson joined Elon University in 1998 as director of college relations and has since become a central figure in the institution's transformation. Over nearly three decades, he has risen through progressively senior positions—assistant vice president in 2004, vice president for university communications in 2011, and special assistant to the president in 2021—serving as a key member of Elon's senior staff.
Pioneering Work on AI and the Digital Future
Among Anderson's most significant recent contributions is his role as lead author of the Student Guide to Artificial Intelligence, which positioned Elon as a thought leader in conversations about AI's implications for higher education and society.
