
Dan Updegrove
Biography
Dan Updegrove is a consultant on IT in Higher Education. In addition to advising individual institutions, he has worked with national consortia, including EDUCAUSE and National LambdaRail. Previously Dan held the positions of CIO at UT Austin and Yale, Associate Vice Provost at the University of Pennsylvania, Vice President of Educom, research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and teaching associate at Cornell. He has also served on boards and advisory councils of CAUSE, Educause, Internet2, LEARN, Seminars on Academic Computing, and SURA, and on higher education advisory groups of Apple, Dell, IBM, Microsoft, Network Appliance, and Software AG.EDUCAUSE Publications
