Biography
As Sinclair’s CISO since July 2003, Dan O’Callaghan developed and is responsible for the College’s campus-wide information security program. He works with cross-divisional groups campus-wide to develop standards and practices that address the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Sinclair’s Information assets, while balancing the philosophical and cultural environment of the academic institution. Prior to joining Sinclair in 2001, Dan served 22 years active-duty in the United States Air Force, and held information security-related responsibilities and positions throughout his military career. Dan has taught network security as an Adjunct Faculty member at Sinclair, has served on the Educause Security Professionals Conference Program Committee, and is an active member of the Dayton Infragard Chapter.
