Dan Kulmala is a Professor of Global English and Director of the Center for Culture and Language. As an innovative, dynamic, and collaborative educator, he possesses a passion for the following pedagogical and professional initiatives: on-line and blended learning, international education, performance- and tech-based instructional design, integrative curriculum creation and delivery, gamification in instruction and Global English. As an experienced leader and accomplished educator, he has created innovative and engaging programs of study: the BA in Global English, the MLS in Social Media Networking and in the e-Learning Professional. He has been awarded a Teagle Foundation Teaching and Learning Scholarship, and he serves on the Advisory Board for SXSWedu.
