Danilo Baylen

Biography

Danilo M. Baylen is a tenured Professor in the Department of Educational Technology & Foundations at University of West Georgia, where he plays a significant role in developing initiatives on technology integration and curriculum planning. Recent projects include implementation of instructional strategies for technology-rich K-12 classrooms; development of technology literacy for writing teachers; and exploration of a virtual community of practice (VCOP) as a professional development tool. Danilo completed his doctoral studies in Instructional Technology at Northern Illinois University, where he also earned a master's degree in Counseling with a student development in higher education focus. Further, he completed a master's degree in Elementary Education from FGCU and an MLIS degree from the University of Alabama.
