Biography

I am a designer, strategist and user advocate. My passion is to help organizations design experiences that make people's lives better. Together with users and stakeholders, I specialize in co-designing holistic, customer-focused experiences that enable organizations to thrive.

I've been focused on solving problems in higher education for close to 20 years.  I'm currently helping higher education clients as a Principle Consultant with Power of Design Services (pod.services) after working within institutions for over 15 years.  I was one of the original functional team members on the Sakai Community Source LMS initiative representing the University of Michigan before starting the User Experience group in Educational Technology Services (ETS) at the University of California, Berkeley.  As the Customer Experience Design Lead in ETS, I worked with a diverse set of departments across the university to bring design thinking and the users' perspective to initiatives such as Academic Innovation Studio, LMS, Online Course Evaluations, Webcast, Help Desk and Inclusive and Accessible Design.

I received both my BBA and MSI (in Human-Computer Interaction) from the University of Michigan.
