Daphne Ireland is the risk and continuity manager for Princeton University where she is responsible for critical infrastructure cyber risk assessement, business continuity and disaster recovery. Daphne has more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Her roles have focused on digital risk and opportunity as they intersect with data assets, critical infrastructure, intellectual property, digital learning, university policy, and operations.
Daphne is a graduate of the University of Richmond and holds a number of current professional certifications including CRISC and CPACC. She has served on EDUCAUSE's HEISC HECVAT Working Group, the executive committee of the Albert Einstein Papers Project, the board of directors for the Association of American University Presses, the copyright committee of the Association American of Publishers. Daphne loves spending free time with her family, playing sports, singing, and learning.
