Biography
I work collaboratively with faculty, Information Technology, and academic programs to promote and support campus technology-based initiatives that advance teaching and learning. This support includes:
- Promoting effective use of the UW learning management system, Canvas
- Promotion of emerging technologies for teaching and learning
- Support for instructors designing hybrid and online courses
- Managing support for students using technology in their course work
I strive to enhance campus initiatives that facilitate institutional innovation, digital collaboration and technology infusion across the curriculum. I am responsible for developing, conducting and overseeing digital aids (video, documentation, how-to, Web sites) for campus systems used by faculty, students and staff. I also oversee student staff working in the Learning Commons on academic technology and media support.
I am the campus administrator for our LMS, Canvas and also provide support, training and documentation for emerging technologies piloted or implemented on campus.
