Darcy Turner
Biography
Darcy Turner is a Project Director with the Office of the CIO and works with a team to create and maintain the IT Strategic Plan for the University of Michigan. Much of this was accomplished remotely, living in London for three years. Previously, Darcy partnered with leaders on all campuses, including the Health System, to provide the technology to enable their strategic initiatives. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 1992 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She worked as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (Accenture) for seven years, focusing on implementing PeopleSoft HR software for companies across the United States. She joined the University of Michigan in 1999, and after PeopleSoft HCM was implemented became the Assistant Director of HRMS Products & Services (HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor and Performance Support). In 2010, Darcy was promoted to Director and added all of the Student Administration and Identity Management systems to her responsibilities.EDUCAUSE Presentations
