D. Benjamin Hellar, Ph.D. is the Manager of the Data Empowered Learning Team for Penn State Information Technology. For Penn State, he provides strategic and operational leadership of learning analytic applications that inform and empower student success: Elevate for academic advisers, Course Insights for instructors. Dr. Hellar is also an Affiliate Faculty member in the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State teaching first year students how to program.
