Biography

I am the team leader for the Technical Support Team in University Systems which is part of Computing and Communications Services. University Systems is responsible for the ERP systems of the university. The Technical Support Team provides database administration, system administration and the infrastructure to the HR, Student and Financial Systems teams within University Systems. Recently I have been immersed in a project to replace our storage and backup infrastructure and enhance our data protection and disaster recovery capability. I have done both database and system administration, application development and managed ERP projects. I have also been in the academic side of the house providing IT consultation for a college dean, developed CBT modules and managed various academic services. All of my experiences have provided a balanced view of IT within a university. While doing this I graduated with a BA in Psychology which provided yet another facet to my experience at the university.
