Biography
Chatham manages the Academic Technology department at CCCOnline and is also responsible for learning management operations, technical vendor relations, SIS integration with D2L for all 14 CCCS colleges. For CCCS, he coordinated the migration of 6500 courses to D2L and the development of web services to support SIS during the transition. With CCCOnline, his department has developed secure websites to manage course administration: faculty gateway, chair "dup" site, and the student services "sectionizer", as well as a financial aid shopping cart for the online bookstore. He also spent several years with Front Range Community College managing a successful program, training faculty in online course development. Twelve years was spent with the Georgia Tech's Economic Development Institute where he had several positions, operating a 13 site satellite network, a compressed video delivery system, and working in economic development. Prior to this he worked for IBM Technical Educations and has also been a consultant for the National Technological University and various colleges. His first job in education was with the Educational Liaison Office at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, where he had an opportunity to work occasionally with the National Science winners and Dr. Wernher von Braun and provide tours of the test facilities and space museum to teachers and students.
