David Evans

Biography

Dr. David Evans has been at Kennesaw State since 1988, first at Assistant Library Director, then Associate Director, then Director. In 2010 he was named Assistant Vice-President for Library Services. In 2012 he was also given the titles of Dean and Professor as the librarians where moved from staff status to non-tenure faculty with academic ranks. Prior to his work at KSU he worked for the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library for four years as head of the Serials Department. Before AFPL he worked for the State Library of Iowa as Director of Networking Services. While having a varied career in both Public and Academic Libraries he was Coordinator of Online Services at a very small college in Savannah, Ga in the earliest days of online databases.
