Biography

David Green is an Instructional Professor Emeritus in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department and teaches in the areas of software engineering and computer networking. He is anadvocate for enabling technologies in the university community and has particiated in a number of roles in university projects. He served as the architect and project director for the UAB Active Directory project. David is also an active volunteer with the IEEE where he serves in a variety of roles including Director, Treasurer, Secretary, IT Transition Committee, IEEE IT Advisory Committee, Collabratec Steering Committee, Region 3 Chair, and member of the vTools Team.  He is on the Board of the IEEE Foundation and is presently seving as Treasurer.
