Biography

David Gerstenecker currently serves Chief Information Officer and Executive Director of Information Technology Services at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Previously, David served as the Director of Information Technology for the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In this role, he was responsible for strategic, resource and budget planning for the college's information technology. He also oversaw the efficient and effective coordination of information technology services for the college. He worked with faculty and administrators to achieve the college's goal to provide the public greater access to higher education with a focus on agricultural, consumer, and environmental sciences.
