Biography
David is director of Student Technologies and TechZone at Illinois State providing computer purchasing, ResNet, technology orientation, and software and vendor management services to the University. He has worked on technology policy issues including serving as Appropriate Use Officer and coordinating the University's student computer initiative whereby all new students are required to bring a computer to campus. He was one of the leaders in the nationally recognized Digital Citizen Project which combined University and corporate interests in taking a proactive, research-based approach to illegal P2P file sharing. He was a 2006 national Frye Fellow participating in the year-long intensive leadership program which intersects academic, library, and technology interests. He was named to the 2013 Illinois State University Leadership Initiative cohort.
