David M. Hawks, Education Business Development Manager, Absolute Software Inc.
David Hawks has 15 years of experience in the information technology industry servicing K12 and Higher Education clients. Currently as a Business Development Manager, he specializes in assisting education industry leaders and organizations with security based solutions around mobile computing and compliance. He also helps educational clients develop strategies and frameworks on how to better track and protect an increasingly mobile computing population and the challenges posed by asset management.
Before joining Absolute Software, Mr. Hawks worked with IBM for over 10 years as a Client Executive, responsible for sales and marketing in the education vertical. He also has experience working with several I/T solution partners related to the Education and Security industry and has much knowledge around solution based consulting and technical leadership in education.
Mr. Hawks attended IBM's Business Executive programs, an opportunity afforded to only a small percentage of qualified people each year. He also received his BS from Salisbury University and MBA from University of Maryland University College.
