Biography
Dr. Henzi is currently the Director of the Office of Academic Enhancement at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) School of Medicine. The primary responsibility of the Office of Academic Enhancement is to increase the retention and opportunities of all students matriculating through UTHSCSA undergraduate medical education. The mission of the office is accomplished by sponsoring a wide variety of programs developed and implemented by fellow medical students. Prior to arriving at UTHSCSA Dr. Henzi worked in a variety of educational areas including k-12, undergraduate and graduate education in Memphis, Des Moines, and San Antonio. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Psychology and from Texas Tech University with Doctorate of Education.
