Biography
David J. Hinson is the Campus Chief Information Officer at Apogee, Inc.
He comes to Apogee from Drury University, where he served in several capacities, including Executive Vice President, Chief of Staff, COO, and CIO. He was responsible for the strategic vision, leadership, planning, and management of the university’s infrastructure and software systems, including connectivity, institutional business support, enrollment management, classroom technology, and online delivery of education and instructional innovation..
Prior to that, David was at the Yeshivah of Flatbush, located in Brooklyn, NY, the largest independent Jewish Day School in North America, where he served as Director of Technology Services. He has also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Hendrix College, where he worked on matters of information infrastructure, instructional technology, and institutional business support and research.
Through Apogee's Executive Advisory Services, David is currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Tennessee Wesleyan University.
