Biography
David Kim is Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Technology Services for the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He has been involved in the fields of higher education and information technology for more than 30 years. David supports the college community and strives to promote student success by providing an immersive experience through the use of research, technology and analytics.
Prior to joining UWL, he has served as the CIO for Central Piedmont Community College and Director of Computer Services at the King's College. David also worked at Jenzabar, a software company for higher education, overseeing their Cincinnati office as the Director for Product Development.
David is a graduate of King’s College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science and received his MBA from LeTourneau University.
David has served or is currently a member of numerous committees and boards including the Pearson OpenClass Client Advisory Board, Blackboard Analytics Client Advisory Board, Google Education Client Advisory Board, SEDUG Board, IIPS President and as co-founder and chair for the NC Community College Chief Information Officer Association (NC-CIOA).
