David Fulton

Biography

David Fulton is a Web Developer with the Enterprise Information division of Information Technology Services at Mississippi State University. David has over 8 years experience as a web application developer using the Linux Apache MySQL PHP (LAMP) architecture. His primary role is web site development with a focus on web application development along with client management and project management duties. David has an MBA-(Project Management) from Mississippi State University and a BS Computer Engineering from University of California at Santa Cruz. He is currently working on a Master’s of Science in Information Systems with a Computer Science minor in Computer Security. Projects of note include: Project Manager for the iVetSchool iOS app a discovery learning tool for food animal science students to work through cases in that discipline. Serving on the Immersus working group as a Co-Developer and Lead Programmer of Immersus. Co-Developer for a donation web applications with administrative systems for handling all donations to the university. Developer of the university’s online tour registration and administration system at the university. Developer of a proprietary workshop system. The workshop signup and administration and record keeping system provides a method for the Office of Regulatory Compliance and Safety, Office of Diversity and Equity Programs, Center for Teaching and Learning, Human Resources Management and Information Technology Services to have online signups for the various workshops they offer. Some of the these courses are required for Federal Certifications the University must maintain as well as personnel certifications required for various job duties.
