
David Stoloff
Biography
David L. Stoloff is a Professor in the Education Department and Director of the Center for Educational Excellence (CEE) at Eastern Connecticut State University. In his 26th year as a faculty member in teacher education programs at Eastern CSU, Sonoma (CA) State University, Cal. State, LA, and SUNY, Plattsburgh, Dr. Stoloff teaches courses in educational technology and liberal arts colloquium in world religions. He started his professional career as a Peace Corps volunteer teacher in Zaire, followed by years teaching high school sciences and mathematics in Israel and in Long Beach, CA. He earned a Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education from UCLA, a MS in Educational Technology from Concordia University in Montreal, and a BS in Biology and Secondary Certification from SUNY, Brockport. David is a CECA Advisor and presented at the 2008 CECA conference on Web 2.0 tools and other internet resources for learning and teaching. With Debbie, David is the proud parent of 4 children – 3 sons – a UCONN math grad and two sons studying sciences – and a 14-year daughter who loves dance and music.EDUCAUSE Presentations
