David Sweeney
Biography
David Sweeney is currently Visiting Associate Professor of the Practice at Texas A&M University. David started the IT Service Management program in 2022, the first undergraduate program of its kind in the United States. David has held numerous technology-related management positions including Chief Information Officer, Texas Transportation Institute.
David teaches the following courses: Systems Administration in the Modern IT Organization, Project Management for Organizations, DevOps for Organizations, and Technology Management Capstone. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology, an M.A. in Counseling and a B.S. in Biology.
David, his wife Allyson, and their five children call Navasota, Texas their home.
