David Sweeney

Biography

David Sweeney is the Director for the Department of Information Technology in the Division of Student Affairs at Texas A&M University. David started the department in 2005 which serves about 1,000 university customers, not including students. David is currently the chair of the university IT Advisory Committee, and is active on numerous university level committees and projects. David is also the chair of the EDUCAUSE IT in Student Affairs Constituent Group. David holds bachelor and master's degrees and is currently working on his dissertation in the area of audio comprehension and interface design for blind and visually impaired learners.
