Dave Tenney
Biography
David Tenney is a Senior Application Developer in the Networking and Telecommunications group of Information Systems & Computing at the University of Pennsylvania. His current responsibilities include support for campus wide services: DHCP, e-mail list management, instant messaging, and Penn’s implementation of services delivered by Box.com cloud. One of David's current projects includes strategizing and implementing interfaces between the Box cloud infrastructure and local resources for authentication, account management, and reporting. His personal interest in the cloud and cloud offerings started shortly after he learned of the hybrid options, joining a public cloud offering and with private cloud resources for optimizing efficiency and cost. He has leveraged his background in system administration to recently start a cloud project using Amazon Web Services and local resources to provide departmental cloud functionality. His past times are spent working with his intricate model train sets, and quality time with his wife and 1-year old daughter.EDUCAUSE Presentations
