I have spent my entire career in higher education, holding a variety of positions in Information Technology and in the closely allied field of Institutional Research. I have spent the last nine years in CIO-level positions. I believe very strongly in the power of liberal education to promote the development of individuals and societies. I also believe very strongly in the ability of technology to enhance the efficacy of liberal education.
