Dean Krafft is the Chief Technology Strategist and Director of Information Technology at the Cornell University Library. In this role, his efforts are focused on the development of a long-term vision for the Library's technology future. He also serves as an ambassador for collaborative technology initiatives across the University and in national and international efforts.
Dean also has an appointment as a Senior Research Associate in Information Science, where he is currently the principal investigator for the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) Project (http://nsdl.org/) at Cornell. As PI, he leads the effort to develop key components of the Core Integration Technology for the library and manages the team that maintains the production library services.
