Biography

Deborah M. Meder (Debbie) is Assistant Controller, University Financial Officers for Penn State. She is responsible for overseeing the Financial Officers, who are Corporate Controller employees assigned to every administrative area of Penn State, including all campus locations. She is involved in administrative computing issues for the Corporate Controller's Office, as well as the development of policy and procedure. She is currently the Chair of the Governance and Policy Sub-Group for the Identity and Access Management Project Team, is a member of the Finance & Business E-Business Strategy Team, and is very involved in the development of the a new workflow system for Penn State which is role-based. Debbie holds an MBA from Penn State and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
