Biography

Debra Howell is the Director of Information Technology Operations for the University Libraries at Cornell University.  She is a creative, dynamic information technology professional who thrives leading and facilitating complex workplace and technology processes, developing talent from within, and collaborating with others to build the most effective computing environment. She has over 20 years of experience providing strategic direction to in all areas of information technology. Debra has an extensive background in facilitation, organizational change, teambuilding, and leadership. Debra received her Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University in 2006.  She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).  Debra is an Office of the Secretary of Defense certified Master Trainer, and she serves as the Information Officer on the Board of the NYS ACE Women’s Network.
