Denise Finn
Biography
Denise has over sixteen years purchasing experience in both the public and private sector, beginning her career as a raw materials buyer at ICI Superior Explosives. She currently serves as the Associate Director, Purchasing Division for the University of Kentucky. Previously Denise served as the Director of Procurement and Contract Management for Yavapai Community College responsible for purchasing, receiving, printing services, mail center, bookstore and foodservice operations for multiple campuses. Denise has been actively involved in both local and national public purchasing associations; having chaired the Professional Development Committee and the Membership Committee for NAEP, served as a Director Elect on the NPI BOD, and was a founding member of the Grand Canyon Chapter of NIGP where she then served as both VP and President. She has earned the designations of CPPO and CPPB from the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council and the A.P.P. and C.P.M. from Institute of Supply Management. Denise was the recipient of the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from NAEP.EDUCAUSE Presentations
