Biography

Des Janke is Manager of Systems Infrastructure at University of Southern Queensland in Australia. Leads a team providing database administration and PeopleSoft middleware services to theUniversity. He has worked at that organisation for 32 years in various information technology roles, including analyst programmer, online learning support, project management and software selection. He has led a project to upgrade Moodle version 2.0 and a government funded project to improve the user experience and function of the learning management system.
