Biography

Diane Michaud has a background in education and has supported instructional technology in her work for several years as an academic librarian. She has organized activities, authored blog posts and co-led workshops about XR-technologies for learning. As part of an ongoing research project, she has been interviewing university instructors and educational technologists who have designed or implemented virtual reality-based learning activities. Based on that empirical data, she intends to publish a paper with a practical focus, providing suggestions and recommendations for educators considering implementing VR into their curriculum and suggested directions for future research.
