Biography
Diego Kramer, Ph.D, Manager of the Authority for Computation, Medical Branch at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Major area of interest is the development, implementation of the academic application space. The most recent project is the deployment of a new logical and physical infrastructure for the campus. The new architecture instituted a fundamental change in the organization function. We set a unified system and network services which is a necessary base for developing a rich, useful and friendly academic application space servicing teaching and research needs. The new environment is well equipped (“an enabling infrastructure…”) to handle new challenges. The new generation infrastructure and application space achieve better communication, collaboration and management of the learning space and the research space. The organizing principle for the solution is the Portal.
Previous projects include an implementation of video on demand solution for Medical and dental students. The students can watch digitized videos of operations, labs, and dissections.
Diego completed his Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
