Biography
Donald A. Barclay is the Deputy University Librarian at the University of California, Merced. He came to UC Merced in 2002 to help create the library for the first research university of the Twenty-First Century. His chief interest is re-creating the academic library to serve the needs of current and future students and researchers. He has published several books on library topics as well as on the literature of the American West. His most recent book (2018) is Fake News, Propaganda and Plain Old Lies: Finding Trustworthy Information in the Digital Age.
